THE DRAMATIST

Illustration done for Massachusetts cover for the The Dramatist. My main concept for this cover is to celebrate the culture and experience of the state of Massachusetts. Massachusetts is rich with history, art, people and nature which makes this place very unique and this magazine cover would serve as a medium to make the audience aware of this. Small towns like Williamstown, Provincetown are not very well known like Boston but has so much to offer; which many needs to know. Going to theatre festivals here will not only indulge one in the cultural side of the state but also they get the opportunity to experience the other aspects like scenic beauty, food, diversity which many might be unaware of. Using instagram stories format as a reference, my design would feature the snippets of various interesting aspects of the state in an illustrated form. These boxes serves as an interpretation of someone from Massachusetts taking a photograph and sharing it with everyone else. Beauty from their perspective. I wanted to thank Joey Stock for this wonderful direction and opportunity.
